The Washington Post Company is engaged in newspaper publishing, television broadcasting, the ownership and operation of cable television systems, magazine publishing and the provision of educational services. The Company's principal newspaper is The Washington Post, while its principal magazine is Newsweek. The Company, through its subsidiaries owns six very-high-frequency (VHF) television stations. The Company's cable television service is provided through its Cable One subsidiary, while educational services is provided by its Kaplan Inc. subsidiary. |
