Weatherford International, Inc. is a provider of equipment and services used for the drilling, completion and production of oil and natural gas wells. The Company conducts operations in approximately 100 countries and has approximately 485 service and sales locations, which are located in nearly all of the oil and natural gas producing regions in the world. The Company's business is divided into three principal operating divisions. The Drilling and Intervention Services Division provides drilling systems, well installation services, cementing products and underbalanced drilling. The Completion Systems Division provides a full range of completion products and services. The Artificial Lift Systems Division is the only organization in the world that is able to provide all forms of artificial lift used primarily for the production of oil. It also provides production optimization services and automation and monitoring of well head production.
