Rayonier Inc. is an international forest products company that is primarily engaged in the production and sale of high value-added performance cellulose fibers and activities associated with timber and land management, including the sale of timber and land. Rayonier owns and operates two performance fibers mills in the United States, and owns, leases or controls approximately 2.3 million acres of timberland located primarily in the United States and New Zealand. It also engages in the trading, merchandising and manufacturing of logs and wood products, and has lumber manufacturing facilities in the United States and a medium-density fiberboard plant in New Zealand. Rayonier operates in three reportable business segments: Performance Fibers, Timber and Land and Wood Products and Trading. Performance Fibers includes two business units, Cellulose Specialties and Absorbent Materials. The Timber and Land segment includes two business units, Timber and Land.
