The group's principal activity is to develop and market healthcare information systems through its subsidiaries clinitec international, inc. and micromed healthcare information systems, inc. these systems are used to automate medical and dental group practices, physician hospital organizations, management service organizations, community health centers and dental schools. the group's systems provide its clients with the ability to redesign patient care and other workflow processes, improve productivity and provide multi-site access to patient information. the group's products include practice management systems and clinical systems. the group has 700 clients, with each client including between one and 1,000 physicians or dentists. maintenance and other services accounted for 61% of fiscal 2002 revenues and computer systems, upgrades and supplies, 39%.
