ORC has substantially ceased writing new business but continues to maintain active licenses in 50 states. Newline Holdings UK Limited, a subsidiary of Odyssey America, is a holding company with several wholly owned operating subsidiaries, including Newline Underwriting Management Ltd., through which it owns and manages Lloyd's Syndicate 1218. Hudson Insurance Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of ORC and is principally engaged in the business of primary property and casualty insurance.
