OGE Energy Corp. is an energy and energy services provider offering physical delivery and management of both electricity and natural gas in the south central United States. The Company conducts these activities through two business segments: the electric utility and the energy supply segments. The electric utility segment generates, transmits, distributes and sells electric energy in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Its operations are conducted through Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company. The energy supply segment produces, gathers, processes, transports, markets and stores natural gas and produces, transports, and markets natural gas liquids in Oklahoma, Arkansas and west Texas. These operations are conducted primarily through Enogex Inc. and its subsidiaries.
