Omnicare operates in five business segments: Pharmacy Services, which provides distribution of pharmaceuticals, related pharmacy consulting, data management services and medical supplies to long-term care facilities; Consultant Pharmacist Services, which provides consultant pharmacist services; Pharmaceutical Case Management Services, which are provided to seniors living independently who receive drug benefits under employer-sponsored retirement programs; Ancillary Services, which provides infusion therapy support services for hospice and home care patients, and Contract Research Organization Services, which provides product development services.
