James Hardie Industries N.V. is an international building materials company and a manufacturer of fiber cement. Fiber cement is used in the exterior and interior of a building, from exterior siding and internal lining, to roofing, fencing, bracing and decorative finishes. The Company is also a producer of gypsum wallboard in the United States. The Company's products are used in most segments of the building materials market, from new residential and commercial construction to repair and remodeling. They are also used in manufactured housing and a variety of industrial applications. James Hardie's major operations span the United States, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
