The group's principal activities are designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing technically advanced and low-cost ambulatory infusion systems. the infusion system redefines the standard of care by providing life enhancing and cost effective solutions for pain management and infusion therapy. hospitals and alternate site settings use the products of the group. the group manufactures compact, portable infusion pumps, catheters and pain kits that administer local anesthetic, chemotherapy, nutritional supplement and other medications. the group, through its wholly owned subsidiary infusystem, inc provides rental of medical infusion pumps on a month-to-month basis. medical infusion systems accounted for 69% of 2001 revenues and rental income and other, 31%.
