IDACORP, Inc. is the parent of Idaho Power Company (IPC), IDACORP Energy (IE) and several other entities. IPC is an electric utility engaged in the generation, transmission, distribution, sale and purchase of electric energy. IE markets electricity and natural gas, and offers risk management and asset optimization services, to wholesale customers in 31 states and two Canadian provinces. The Company has two business segments: the regulated utility operations of IPC; and the energy marketing activities of IE. IDACORP's other subsidiaries are: Ida-West Energy, an independent company that develops, acquires, constructs, finances, owns and operates electric power generation facilities; IdaTech, a developer of fuel processors and proton-exchange-membrane fuel cell systems; IDACORP Financial Services, which is engaged in affordable housing and other real estate investments; Velocitus, a commercial and residential Internet service provider; and IDACOMM, an integrated communication provider. |
