The group's principal activities are providing specialized polymers processing and oilfield services. in the polymers processing segment, the group provides grinding, jet milling, compounding, and ancillary services for polymer resins produced in pellet form. the segment also formulates and manufactures concentrated products for blending with polymer resins to give finished products desired characteristics, such as color or protection from ultraviolet light. the other services include compounding and related distribution services. in the oilfield services segment, the group provides inspection, reconditioning and coating services for new and used tubular goods and sucker rods used in the oil and gas industries. polymers processing services accounted for 60% of fiscal 2001 revenues and oilfield services, 40%.
