Delaware Investments Dividend and Income Fund, Inc. is a closed-end fund whose objective is to provide high current income, and secondarily capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing in income generating equity securities, including dividend paying common stocks, convertible securities, preferred stocks and other equity related securities of US and foreign issuers. In addition, the Fund may invest in non-convertible debt securities consisting primarily of government and high yield corporate bonds of US and foreign issuers.
