The principal activity of the group is to operate restaurants in the united states. the group operates 161 restaurants in alabama, arkansas, florida, georgia, illinois, indiana, kentucky, mississippi, missouri, north carolina, ohio, south carolina, tennessee and virginia, and two stoney river legendary steaks restaurants in atlanta and one in chicago. it also operates commissary in nashville through which it purchases and distributes a substantial majority of the food products and supplies for restaurants. the group opened 24 new restaurants in 2001. restaurant sales accounted for 99% of 2001 revenues and commissary sales, 1%.
