The group's principal activities are the provision of integrated graphic communication services to professional publishers, not for profit societies and corporations. the other activities of the group include commercial printing, fulfillment, distribution services, software duplication and catalog design and photography. the group provides products and services in two broad divisions. the professional division provides composition, editorial, prepress, printing, warehousing and distribution services. this division also provides a full complement of digital products and services, including website design, architecture, content management, internet, compact disk based electronic archiving, electronic peer review and online publishing. the group's marketing division provides the creation, production and distribution of graphic communications. professional communications accounted for 88% of fiscal 2002 revenues and marketing communication, 12%. |
