The group's principal activities are divided into three segments: construction of retail and commercial projects, real estate and energy management. construction activities consist primarily of new construction, expansion and remodeling of retail store buildings, banks, shopping centers, warehouses and distribution centers and other commercial buildings. the real estate segment activities include investments in shopping centers and office properties in the southeast and midwest. energy management activities include assisting the customers in reducing energy consumption and operating costs of commercial buildings. on 09-may-2001, the group acquired substantially all of the assets of servidyne systems, inc, an energy engineering and energy management company. construction accounted for 86% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Real estate, 12% and energy management, 2%. |
